With 20 years of serving clients of East Texas in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry, Annetta Carter joined Adams Financial Group, a local insurance and investment advisory firm two years ago with the idea to broaden her practice . Having sucessfully owned and operated her own office for many years, Annetta brings to the firm a wealth of knowledge in helping people prepare for the expected and unexpected events that occur in their lives.

Annetta is a graduate of the Certified Long Term Care Program and has a passion for helping people plan for Long Term Care. She understands the importance of advisors educating their clients about the consequences failure to have a plan for long-term care could have on those they love. She helps people understand that the retirement porfolios she assists them in accumulating are allocated to provide income to support their lifestyle and keep promises to their family and community after they retire and that paying for care likely means that the retirement income will have to be reallocated for that care.

Annetta also enjoys helping her clients through the sometimes confusing process of retirement assistance in the rollover process, defining income benefits and helping them sift through all the changes in their life and health insurance when they retire. Other financial services offered include assisting with estate planning and college education funding. She takes an approach of protection along with investments to round out the strategy and to insure against the unexpected.

Having served two years as President of the Tyler Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Annetta supports her industry’s legislative efforts to preserve and create tax advantages for the consumers of insurance and financial products. She has also a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable, The East Texas Estate Planning Council and serves on the board for Special Wish Child, Inc.

Annetta, her husband, Mark and son, Jacob are active members at Central Baptist Church in Tyler, TX.
